Growl is an unobtrusive notification system built specifically for OS X.

Hundreds of apps have support built in for Growl so that you can receive messages for various events occurring within those apps, so as when you receive an IM or email.

In this episode we'll cover downloading, installing and customizing the appearance of Growl. We'll also show how to enable Growl for a few apps that support it.
